Boots’ already extensive product portfolio is about to get major boost, this time in the haircare sector. The UK high street health & beauty giant has expanded the category with over 400 new “premium professional” products.

The offer, which includes hair cleansing, treatments and styling products from 10 professional salon-grade brands, is being rolled out in selected stores and online (with home delivery and click & collect options available) in time for the peak Christmas trading period.

The 10 brands are Redken, L’Oréal Professionnel, Pureology, Ouai, Briogeo, Ful, Matrix, ColorWow, Drybar and Wella Professional. They’ll join its existing higher-end product range that includes Philip Kingsley, Bumble and Bumble, Coco & Eve and Arkive while adding to Boots' already-2,500-strong selection of haircare products.

Meanwhile, Boots has also launched a new haircare hub on its website that features “expert education, inspiration and advice for shoppers”. In addition, the retailer is trialling a new Haircare Specialist role in its stores, which will offer “personalised expertise and impartial product advice” to customers across Boots' premium haircare range later this year.

Jenna Ward, head of beauty reinvention at Boots, said: “Our customers trust Boots, and know that we will only bring them brands and products that we truly believe in. The launch of 10 new premium and professional haircare brands means we’re making the most in-demand products even more accessible and giving our customers more choice across our extensive haircare offering.”
