Samantha McCoach started her fashion brand Le Kilt last year. The label was inspired by her family's kilt-making heritage, and saw McCoach modernize the traditional garment to fit today's wardrobes.

For her debut collection at London Fashion Week in February, McCoach teamed up with luxury watch brand Nixon. She created eight bespoke one-of-a-kind watches for her presentation. McCoach used Nixon's "The Time Teller" watch as the base for the creations, which compliment her ‘She Said Boom’ womenswear collection.
Samantha McCoach, Creative Director, Le Kilt, told us: "This was my first time presenting during LFW and as part of it, I wanted accessories, something extra which would really fit the style of the collection and designs without detracting. Watches are a very natural thing to wear and can really add to a look without being too obvious.
Nixon offered the perfect opportunity, with their customisation bar, I felt like a kid in a sweet shop when I went in to design the watches! They pull out trays and trays of the different parts in variation of colours, fabrics and materials, free to choose from and make crazy combinations!"
Though the watches made for the collection are one-offs, anyone can make their own watches at the Nixon store in London's Carnaby Street. Prices range from £110 - £450.
