Chinese lifestyle retailer Miniso is to open its first ‘blue’ retail destination at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent next month.
Located on the Lower Thames Walk, opposite Foot Locker, it opens on 7 June with the 2,000 sq ft space featuring the brand’s Beauty and & Self-care range including face masks, hand creams, lip masks, fragrance and essential make-up products.
These will appear alongside its best-selling products, including popular Blind Box collectibles, soft plushies, homewares, and accessories.
Switching from Miniso’s signature pink aesthetic, the blue-coloured Bluewater store is inspired by Sanrio Cinnamoroll, the popular children’s character series created by Sanrio.
The store also features floor-to-ceiling LED screens and a corner “overflowing with the softest plush toys”.
The latest opening is the retailer’s 27th store in the UK and follows the successful opening of its other shopping centre locations in Westfield Stratford City, Westfield White City, Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre and Brent Cross. Its biggest store in the country opened in London’s Camden.
In all, it operates more than 6,000 stores in over 100 countries.
Saad Usman, Chief Operating Officer at Miniso UK, said: “This is our third store opening of 2025, with more to come as we expand our presence across the UK.”
