Expanding premium intimates brand Lounge has launched a Christmas pop-up store on Liverpool One’s South John Street, marking its city debut. 




After making its physical debut via a number of temporary stores this year and then opening its first permanent store in Westfield White City, London, in the autumn, the brand said it now aims to add seven more permanent UK stores within the next 12 months. 

Running until 23 December under its ‘Comfort Made Sexy’ tagline, the 4,000 sq ft Liverpool One space has been designed to “emulate a cosy and warm shopping environment in Lounge's signature minimal style… delivering a premium shopping experience”.

It showcases the brand’s extensive range of bestselling lingerie, loungewear and nightwear with size-inclusive product lines ranging XS-3XL and 30A-40G. ‘Lounge Fit Experts’ are also on hand to advise on fit and style.



Mel Marsden, founder of Lounge, said: “As [it] continues to expand into physical retail, we have been seeking locations that not only have high footfall numbers, but also align with our dedication to providing the ultimate customer experience. Liverpool One’s core visitor-centred values and loyal consumer base made it the ideal home.”

Rob Deacon, Asset Management Director for the Grosvenor-operated mall, added: “The rapidly expanding brand aligns very well with our demographic here… and it was great to see our visitors enthusiastically interact with the pop-up over the launch weekend.”

The opening follows the news that women’s active streetwear brand Red Run has opened a flagship store at the shopping centre.
