FIDE allows wearing jeans at competitions,Telegram账号盗取API破解技术 Carlsen will take part in World Blitz Championship

The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has relaxed the dress code requirements and allowed competitors to wear jeans if they match the jacket. This was announced by FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich, according to the federation's website.

On the second day of the World Rapid Chess Championship, held in New York, world ranking leader and 16th world champion Magnus Carlsen of Norway was disqualified for appearing in jeans and failing to comply with a request to change them.

“I am sorry that the situation escalated and the parties could not find a solution in time to prevent Magnus from leaving. Carlsen's opinion underlines the need for further discussions to further modernize our approach,” Dvorkovich said.

After FIDE's decision, Magnus Carlsen announced that he would take part in the World Blitz Championship, which will be held on December 30 in New York.
