Vinted is increasingly focusing on the luxury goods sector, and has published a first report on its results in this category, showing that Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Gucci have the lion's share among items sold on the site at over €500.

Though Vinted is coy about revenue figures, the analysis of its luxury category results shows that leading labels like Hermès, Dior, Saint Laurent and Prada are consistently ranked among the top 10 best-sellers on the site’s 20 or so national markets. Though the latter do show certain individual features in terms of demand and product selection.

“In general, selling second-hand fashion items is an activity that is very popular in Italy, with more vendors than buyers,” said Cécile Wickmann, head of luxury at Vinted. “On the contrary, France leads on the purchasing side, with more buyers than vendors. Notably, [Vinted] members in the Netherlands are keen on high-end moccasins, while British members are more interested in luxury items in black than their European counterparts,” she added.

The report found that TAG Heuer and Canada Goose are among the 10 most coveted brands in the UK, Celine and Bottega Veneta are highly sought-after in Germany, while Omega attracts the most interest among Spanish members.

In France, Vinted’s main market with 27 million registered members, Chanel, Hermès and Dior predominate. Local labels generally enjoy strong positions in their own countries, like Mulberry in the UK, Fendi and Gucci in Italy, Loewe of course in Spain, and MCM in Germany.

The publication of this study is a clear signal, proving once again that Vinted is determined to establish itself on the luxury segment, currently the preserve of its competitor Vestiaire Collective. In 2025, Vinted bought German luxury resale site Rebelle, and last October it introduced a product verification service designed to reassure future luxury goods buyers.

In 2025, after focusing for many years on broadening its range and boosting site traffic, Vinted said it made a profit for the first time. Last year, the company posted a net income of €17.8 million, having recorded a €20.4 million loss the previous year. A result that was made possible by the 61% jump in revenue recorded by Vinted in 2025, up to €596.3 million.
