Heretic Parfum is celebrating the release of Robert Eggers' highly anticipated movie Nosferatu, with a stunning new scent that smells “like a vampire.”
The limited edition scent, titled Nosferatu Eau de Macabre, is a collaboration between Focus Features and famed perfumer Douglas Little.
Inspired by the aforesaid film's unsettling atmosphere, Little sought to capture the true essence of what a vampire smells like. The scent immerses the wearer in the dark and mysterious realm of Count Orlok, who is also known as Nosferatu or “The Deathbird” in the movie, writes Hypebae.
The scent features top notes of lilac and ambrette seed that transition into violet, orris root, and petrichor. The base of this scent is an intriguing blend of vegan amber and oud absolute, capturing the chilling feeling of a supernatural encounter.
