Womenswear retailer Quiz may be facing major challenges in terms of driving sales higher, but the company is continuing to roll out new or upgraded stores and has just opened a flagship in the Trafford Centre, Manchester.
Located at 126 Regent Crescent within the centre, it replaces the brand’s former store with a larger space and underlines the firm’s confidence in the Manchester fashion market.
Its sales floor covers around 2,500 sq ft and has been designed in line with the brand’s latest look and feel, with porcelain flooring, gold features and multiple LED display screens.
Quiz’s pricing is at the lower end of the spectrum (very little over £100 and dresses starting below £30) but the aim here is to achieve a premium, boutique ambience and it seems to have worked. The premium feel continues in the shop’s fitting rooms, which have been kitted out with LED mirrors and crystal chandeliers.
The space features the bulk of the label’s range, from occasion-wear to dressy casual pieces, as well as accompanying footwear and accessories, with more also available via click & collect.
Opening just in time for summer drops, it includes the latest Dubai-inspired collection, Summer Luxe.
Of the staff working there, 11 relocated from the former store and four new jobs have also been added.
The opening takes the brand’s UK store count to 68 with Manchester now having two branches, the other being its shop in Arndale.
