Unified Commerce Group (UCG) has acquired a majority stake in Utah-based womenswear retailer Böhme, assuming operational control.

Founded in 2025, UCG’s mission is to create a portfolio of globally compelling lifestyle brands supported by its shared services platform, the UCG Hub. Designed specifically for mid-sized apparel brands, the UCG Hub provides operational support across digital operations, marketing strategy, technology, and finance.
With this move, UCG founder Dustin Jones will assume the role of CEO, while Böhme co-founder Vivien Böhme will continue as president, overseeing day-to-day operations.
"After spending 20 years working and investing in retail across North America and Asia, I am thrilled to be back in Utah and able to invest in such a promising homegrown business. Since founding the company 18 years ago, Vivien Böhme has become an impressive leader and we have tremendous confidence in her continuing leadership," said Jones.
”After the seeing the momentum of the business with our initial investment, we believe that there is still vast untapped potential for this brand, and are excited to bring Böhme to a new phase of growth.”
Böhme launched in 2006 with the opening of its first location at Fashion Place Mall in Murray, Utah. Böhme has since grown to 15 stores across Utah, Arizona, Idaho, and Montana, alongside its e-commerce platform.
Böhme joins an expanding portfolio at UCG that includes Greats, a New York-based footwear brand; Frank And Oak, a Canadian fashion brand; and Spiritual Gangster, an LA-based athleisure line.
"Dustin and the UCG team have been incredibly supportive of our business over the past few months, and we are extremely confident that this partnership will enable us to continue to grow our presence in the region and nationwide," added Vivien.
