The 30th International Festival of Fashion and Photography, which ended on the evening of April 26, ended with very positive results. Never has the event attracted such high attendance and so many celebrities, such as Caroline of Monaco, garnering unanimous praise from participants and visitors who came to Hyères this past weekend.

Under the direction of Chanel, both the event’s main sponsor and special guest this year, the Festival immediately took on another dimension. That same maturity could be felt in the collections presented this year by the 10 finalists. Most of the designers unveiled wok that was already very accomplished demonstrating a great mastery of cuts and extensive research in terms of fabrics.
Chanel’s touch was definitely felt in terms of the fashion competition’s selection of finalists, with the jury including Chanel’s studio director, Virginie Viard, serving as its chair, and Karl Lagerfeld serving as artistic director of the event.
The festival also added an extra day. Will it keep it next year? And more importantly, how will it go about it post-Chanel? We’ll see in 2025.
