Foubert’s Place is now home to stores for contemporary jeweller Astrid & Miyu and eyewear brand Jimmy Fairly, while Carnaby Street has welcomed Barbour.

Astrid & Miyu announced its plans for a London flagship back in early spring and this has now now opened at 5-7 Foubert’s Place. It’s a significant upsize for the brand within the neighbourhood.

Operating as House of Astrid & Miyu (HOAM), it “promises to be the jeweller’s most immersive shopping experience yet, offering a greater array of consciously-created jewellery, and featuring new collections. Astrid & Miyu places a strong focus on experience, and the relocation has created more space for in-store services that include ear-piercing, tattooing, engraving, and welding”.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Fairly’s new space at number 10 comes as the brand aims to “create a better overall environment, ensuring the purchase of prescription glasses is a more enjoyable experience”.

Foubert’s Place is part of the thriving area close to Regent Street and just off Carnaby Street. The two brands sit alongside Mango Teen and Sculpted by Aimee, which both made UK debuts in Soho within the past 12 months.

Barbour’s new store is a relocation for the famous brand with the label having been in Soho for almost 15 years. It’s now at 29 Carnaby Street that has had a brand new fit-out and features its wide collection of clothing and accessories.

It adds to recent Carnaby Street openings that include Pangaia, which opened its first-ever physical store there.
