After its inauguration of Men's Day, the British Fashion Council gets even more serious about masculine fashion by giving it a fashion week of its own next June. From 15 to 17, the event by the federation and its partner, Mr. Porter, will be a platform for fashion shows and presentations by British brands. Held several days before the men's fashion weeks in Milan and London, the event aims to highlight British craftsmanship and the British heritage in all of its diversity, bringing together designers and commercial labels, such as Aquascatum, the designer Margaret Howell, and Savile Row tailors James Long and E. Tautz.

Topman will also take part in the festivities through NEWGEN MEN, the event that the brand has sponsored for several seasons, which brings together young talents and which will be associated with the new fashion week.

The British Fashion Council’s announcement comes just days after it has officially named Dylan Jones, editor of British GQ, as chair of the Fashion 2025 committee dedicated to men's fashion.

Fashion 2025 is the fashion beacon for the Olympic year, initiated by the BFC. In fact, the international sporting event has seen a great deal of cultural initiatives bloom in its wake. Also hoping to benefit from the spotlight on London this year, Fashion 2025 plans to be a platform for various fashion events, both initiated by the CFB and by the British brands themselves.
