Pandora has opened its first flagship store worldwide in Copenhagen. The Danish jewellery brand's current collections are offered in a 500-square-metre space spread over 2 floors. The collections include the newly launched Pandora Essence and Lab-Grown Diamonds lines, which have recently boosted business.
The opulent jewellery boutique is located on Strøget, the Danish capital's main pedestrian street (Vimmelskaftet 1). The store, designed specifically for the Copenhagen location, is based on the architectural principles of Pandora's shop concept and is inspired by Danish design and materials.
The store concept also includes Style Studio, where customers can design their own jewellery and purchase services such as engraving, gift items and piercings.
Iconic design objects from Danish brands Gubi, Montana, &Tradition, Fritz Hansen and Louis Poulsen are also on display, paying homage to the art and craftsmanship of Pandora's home country.
Works of art by Danish creatives, including paper artist Rie Elise Larsen and stop-motion animator Marcus Møller Bitsch, are featured in the shop windows.
On the second floor of the new building, a light-flooded studio is available for events, exhibitions and activities. It will be opened to the public in conjunction with Copenhagen Fashion Week in August.
