Me+Em is the latest fashion name to open a store in the prestigious Battersea Power Station mall that opened last autumn.

The new high-end womenswear store joins a raft of other upscale retailers including Mulberry, Boss, Calvin Klein, Hackett, Jott, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Reiss, Theory, Tommy Hilfiger, Zadig & Voltaire and more.
The new store in Turbine Hall A makes the most of the original features of the landmark destination — such as the wall tiles — while also layering the signature Me+Em look onto the space with a warm-tone wooden floor, pale walls and soft lighting.
It covers 947 sq ft, the sizeable space playing host to the brand’s womenswear, footwear and accessories.
It’s the seventh store for the label whose other locations are mainly in suitably upscale enclaves in London, including Belgravia, Chelsea, Brook Street and Westbourne Grove. It also has concessions in Harrods and Selfridges (both London and Manchester).
The company has been expanding in recent periods and last year raised £55 million in new funding to be used to further its international growth ambitions.
The Battersea Power Station redevelopment took many years and many billions of pounds and was the biggest mall debut in years for the UK. Some analysts have even speculated that its will be the last mega-mall to debut for many years, given that major UK cities and towns are well supplied with shopping centres and if anything, there are currently more than are needed.
