Always a highlight of haute couture fashion week, the Dior show took place this Monday, January 26 in the gardens of the Musée Rodin in Paris. A crowd of celebrities came out to view Raf Simons' latest collection, which has a distinctly retro feel.
On a giant platform outside the Parisian museum today, models showcased the 1960s-inspired looks of the Christian Dior Spring-Summer 2025 haute couture collection.
The designer chose to play with contrasting volumes, namely in long, loose and transparent trench coats worn over embroidered mini-dresses. Flared skirts also made a strong showing, echoing the French fashion house's signature design codes.
Colorful stripe motifs are a recurring theme in the collection, along with other groovy geometric prints seen in jumpsuits, bodysuits and dresses. As usual at Dior, flowers in the mix too, either in prints or in intricate embroidery.
Combining the retro with the modern, the show also paired a number of go-go style mini-dresses with ultra-chic latex boots (ankle or thigh-high) in black, green, red and even orange.
