Make-up brand Kiko Milano has shown how an injection of creativity can drive footfall and sales higher.

After unveiling a mural installation “celebrating Italian and UK creativity” at its Covent Garden, London, flagship, it said it has generated a 33% increase in footfall and sales revenue increased by 80% year on year.
Brought to life by creative solutions agency Bullfrog, the mural extends across the ceiling and adjacent wall. Kiko said the aim of the collaboration has been “to create a unique and captivating experience that captures the essence of [the] brand positioning: Art. Beauty. Joy.”
Covent Garden is a popular location for art-based installations — earlier this year we reported on its new immersive light installation in partnership with British designer and Floral Street resident Sir Paul Smith.
And the brand said that with the location being “known for its creativity, performance, and beauty, [it] was the perfect setting to celebrate the relaunch” of thew flagship.
The image takes its “inspiration from the rich pop art culture of London and combining it with Italian glamour”, Bullfrog has come up with an installation that “celebrates the brand's identity”.
Overall, Kiko added that the Covent Garden store “holds a significant place in the brand's overall strategy, as it provides a platform to showcase the brand’s values… to a diverse and international audience”.
As mentioned, the installation has already helped drive shoppers to the store and it has “become a focal point in-store for customers seeking the perfect backdrop for their post-makeup Instagram moments or TikTok creations”.
