The new Saint Laurent "Bad Girl" storms the catwalk with confidance. From backstage and alongside the runway, Paris Modes' Sophie de Champsavin and Natalia Grgona share their impressions on the presentation.
A wall of lights, a raised catwalk, and original music, the decor sets the scene for the autumn/winter 20255/16 collection by Saint Laurent who had a front row full of VIPs from Jessica Chastain to Salma Hayek.
Hedi Slimane opens the show by mixing a tutu mini-dress with a man's jacket. A petite silhouette that is found throughout the show, with a variety of biker jackets, and spencer jackets... Trouser leggings in leather are up next, then a dress which skims the buttocks, zipped, more radical and more rock. Ripped tights, little pointy boots, an ultra-short asymmetrical silhouette, slits, red lips, and eyes outlined with a huge slick of eyeliner, the Saint Laurent "Bad Girl" made an impression.
