Following previous winners Stine Riss and Minju Kim, Eddy Anemian has been named the winner of the 2025 H&M Design award. The young French designer, still a student at La Cambrein Brussels, took home the top title at the third edition of the awards, held by the Swedish retailing giant to help promote young design talent.

Anemian presented his collection, entitled "They can cut all the flowers, they cannot keep spring from coming", at a show held in Stockholm.

Originally from Saint-Chamond in France, the designer managed to win over the judging panel, which was led by British designer Erdem and H&M's Ann-Sofie Johansson.

Playing with textures and different floral patterns, the collection featured bold, voluminous pieces and was inspired by actress Tilda Swinton and the works of painter Ingres.

Anemian took home the prize fund worth 50,000 euros and will see his capsule collection for the Swedish retailer hit stores in the fall.

The public choice award went to Dutch designer Henriette Tilanus who will get to partake in a three-month internship at the Erdem design studios in London.
