Lifestyle fashion and home retailer Joe Browns continues its physical store rollout opening a store in Bowness-on-Windemere “putting the affluent lakes area firmly on the fashion map”.
Its debut franchised store is its first new location for four years. It measures 2,500 sq ft store in the town’s Queens Square, Joe Browns Bowness will showcase womenswear, menswear and homewares.
Opening on 10 June, the store features a “bright, eclectic and contemporary shop fit… in a standout style, complete with a centrepiece chandelier”.
The brand’s collection features hand-picked edits, “packed with personality and remarkable finishing touches” and said its most coveted lines include womenswear offering boho styles, signature prints and florals alongside the upmarket ‘Boutique’ brand offering rich fabrics, textiles and finishes.
The opening is the first franchise store for Joe Browns, which has partnered with retail entrepreneurs Adrian and Julie North.
Joe Browns’ CEO Peter Alecock said: “The lakes are one of the UK’s most remarkable areas, so where better to open one of the UK’s most remarkable stores? Despite the ongoing cost of living crisis, Joe Browns said it has recorded “significant growth”, recently celebrating its strongest year to date, with sales leaping by almost 21% and profits up 7.8%.
It’s currently searching for sites for 10 new stores across the UK.
