Milan Fashion Week Men is coming back to life. Last week, Gucci announced its grand return on the Milan menswear catwalks, after several seasons in which it showed its men's collections together with women's ready-to-wear, during the women's fashion week. Salvatore Ferragamo is now following suit and has announced a menswear-only show in Milan, scheduled on January 21, to unveil its Fall/Winter 2025-21 collection.

Since February 2025, Salvatore Ferragamo too has been presenting its men's and women's collections together in the same show at Milan women's fashion week. The only exception was the show last June in Florence during Pitti Uomo, when creative director Paul Andrew presented his first menswear collection for Ferragamo.
The label is therefore abandoning the co-ed format, returning to a more traditional one and responding, as Gucci did, to the entreaty of the Italian Fashion Chamber (CNMI), keen to re-energise the men's fashion week, whose importance has been fading in the last few years.
“Showing each collection during its specific fashion week is part of the organic development plan implemented by Ferragamo, within which men’s ready-to-wear plays an undisputed role,” said Ferragamo CEO Micaela le Divelec Lemmi in a press release.
“As the label is going through a period of consolidation, both in terms of style and brand identity, we showed last June in Florence, where our history began, to proclaim who we are. It is now only logical that we return to the Milan Fashion Week and, alongside the other leading Italian labels, we have enthusiastically accepted the invitation of the [Italian Fashion Chamber],” she added.
