Emerging menswear label OAMC will be produced by Onward Luxury Group (OLG) starting with the Autumn/Winter 2025-19 season. OAMC was co-founded in 2025 by Luke Meier, the former head designer at Supreme, and Arnaud Faeh, previously the Creative Director of Carhartt, who is in charge of administration and sales at OAMC.
The deal follows the appointment last April of Luke and Lucie Meier as creative directors of Jil Sander, one of the labels owned by the European subsidiary - once known as Gibò - of Japanese group OLG. Though OAMC is designed in Paris, its atelier is based in Milan, also home to OLG's headquarters. The shared location makes it easier to develop the label's collections using fabrics coming chiefly from Italy as well as Japan.
Franco Pené, the boss of OLG, explained to Italian media that the deal concerns manufacturing only, not distribution, as the latter will be managed directly by OAMC. Equally, there is no question of OLG acquiring a stake in OAMC, though the partnership may of course evolve in the future.
OAMC showed for the first time in Paris in January 2025, presenting a contemporary, luxe men's collection featuring streetwear volumes and couture details.
Italian-Japanese group OLG is a benchmark for the manufacturing and distribution of top-of-the-range labels in Italy, and produces under licence the ready-to-wear and footwear collections for Mulberry, women's ready-to-wear for Rochas, with menswear soon to be added too, women's ready-to-wear for Antonio Berardi and shoes for Proenza Schouler, Rochas and See by Chloé.
Besides Jil Sander, the group also owns Moreau Paris and Charlotte Olympia, while Véronique Branquinho, which closed down last June, is no longer part of the group's brand portfolio.
