After Beijing in 2025 and Shanghai in 2025, Galeries Lafayette is opening a new store in Shenzhen. The French group had set itself the target of opening ten stores in China by 2025, with the next one expected in Guiyang, in the south-west of the country.

Located in the dynamic Futian district, the 4,500 square-metre Shenzhen space, inaugurated by managers Philippe and Nicolas Houzé, carries over one hundred brands. The store has a concept-store feel, with a mix of French, local and international brands. These include collections by Chloé, Marni, JW Anderson, MM6 and others.

The "Edit by Galeries Lafayette" area, on the second floor, will feature products by Jacquemus, Maison Margiela, Jil Sander, AMI, Courrèges, Balmain and Rabanne. An area called "Edit Gift" is dedicated to a selection of lifestyle products and gifts. The third floor features an area devoted to mixed urban fashion and sneakers, as well as a Café Kitsuné.

"After several months of work, we are delighted to be able to celebrate this third opening in China in person, with this new two-storey department store concept, inspired by French architecture and offering more than one hundred brands, from luxury designers to international and local high-end trendy brands," says Philippe Pedone, director of International Development for the department store chain.
