It’s been a good year on the retail letting front for Hammerson and it’s looking to end 2025 with a flourish. The UK property giant has announced a series of high-profile openings across its portfolio of city centre destinations in time for Christmas.

“The new brands further support Hammerson’s strategy to enliven and reinvigorate its assets in the heart of some of the UK’s liveliest cities by introducing new brands, concepts and market first concepts,” it said.

So which brands are they and where are they opening? M&S has officially opened its new 65,000 sq ft store at Bullring in Birmingham with spacious new Clothing, Home & Beauty departments key.

We’ve already reported on JD Sports more than doubling its footprint at the destination.

In Dublin, Dunnes Stores, has officially opened at the Dundrum Town Centre with new 55,000 sq ft store flagship, complete with children’s, men’s, and women’s fashion alongside an extensive homewares range.

Just across the city, Foot Locker has also opened a new store at The Ilac mall. Serving as an athleisure anchor for the city centre destination, it joins a high-profile brand line-up including Dunnes Stores, River Island, TK Maxx, Boots, Flying Tiger and Smiggle.

Paul O’Brien, Director of Leasing and Commercialisation, Hammerson said: “These new openings further demonstrate the appeal our of quality asset base to leading brands and our successful ability to enliven our unique locations as we seek to ensure they continue to resonate with our audiences ahead of the crucial Christmas period.”
