Printemps Haussmann is jumping on the "quiet luxury" bandwagon, a certain idea of discreet luxury that has been making its mark on the catwalks for several seasons now. On March 18, the Paris department store will be inaugurating a new space called "Minimal Chic", featuring brands associated with this style, which combines a minimalist approach with elegance, far removed from the excessively reproduced logos and frills.

The fourth floor of the women's building has been redesigned to provide 187 square metres for this new beige and camel-toned space, enhanced by furniture and decoration (tables, seats, vases, etc.). Thirteen brands have been chosen for the space, including Rohe, The Loom, Bourrienne, Alamelu, By Malene Birger, Skall Studio, Adolfo Dominguez and St.Agni. Their signature? "Impeccable cuts and neutral tones," says the department store.

As for the rest of its offering, Printemps Haussmann is also announcing a number of new arrivals: Pristini Vintage in the second-hand sector, young designer labels Liberowe and Louis Abel, as well as Pomandère and Xirena among the bohemian chic labels and Benjamin Benmoyal and House of Jaffa for men's fashion. April Please and Room Service are joining the jewellery department, while Ouest Paris is making its debut on the footwear front.

Printemps, which belongs to the group of the same name, operates a network of 20 shops in France and a unit in Qatar. The next big step for the brand is its arrival in New York this year, in a 5,000 square metre space on Wall Street.
