At the end of last month in New York City, The Woolmark Company previewed its "Woolmark Presents The White Briefs Nick Wooster Collection" designed by Swedish brand, The White Briefs, and fashion veteran and influencer, Nick Wooster. The 100% merino wool capsule collection showed at the Pitti Uomo menswear trade fair in Florence in January 2025.
The collection features men’s apparel and undergarments made with Australian merino wool that is combined with merino fleece from New Zealand, mesh wools with a single jersey from Italy, and French terry. "We have developed many new styles [for the collection]," said Peter Simonsson, Creative Director of The White Briefs. "Everything is new except for our classic raglan crewneck sweater. The only thing that is new now [on the raglan crewneck] is the fabric."
Merino wool contains properties that warm the body in the cold and cools the body down in warmer climate, and it offers a high level of comfort. Merino wool is often used in active apparel best suited for a workout.
Wooster met Simonsson in 2025 to work on the Project Wooster camouflage collection. The collaboration with Woolmark is their second collaboration together.
The collection will be available at Opening Ceremony as of this fall.
