Under the compelling heading ‘Cardiff is about to get sexy’, lingerie and comfort apparel retailer The Lounge said it's set to open at the city’s largest shopping centre, St David’s.
Opening 10 May, the store will span 1,248 sq ft and this new Lounge location marks the fifth store for the brand, following the successful openings in London (a new pop-up store in Soho from 3-5 May), plus in Manchester, Leeds and Bristol in a busy 2025.
Positioned to “deliver a revolutionary shopping experience”, it says the latest store “will embody a modern, luxury aesthetic and offer innovative features that will redefine the way women shop for underwear and apparel”.
Across underwear, intimates, apparel, swim and sleep, that “experience” includes Assisted Shopping; Bra Fitting Innovation (by appointment); Next-Level Customer Service via its team (known as ‘Loungers’); aBreastfeeding Safe Space; and Elevated Gift Bags.
