On Sunday, at the NY Fashion Week, New York fashion label Hood by Air has showcased its new collection, a conceptual whirlwind that transcends sportswear.

Young designer Shayne Oliver's label is well-known for being wildly offbeat, with a penchant for provocation.
And while Hood by Air's show was held at a much more conventional venue than usual, an old post office close to the Madison Square Garden, the collection itself did not disappoint.
Like those of other avant-garde labels, Hood by Air's shows are gender-neutral, featuring male and female models sporting outfits wearable by both sexes.
One of the female models was clad in a suit whose jacket was ripped up to reveal the chest, which was covered by a bodice.
Still in the suits section, another model wore a grey one with very loose trousers, the jacket covered by another jacket sewn haphazardly on top of the first. Also, a folded white shirt, as though straight off a store's shelf, was sewn on to the jacket's lapels.
The overall impression was of a deliberately deviant, stark look, with plenty of black and zips galore.
An impression that was heightened by the PornHub logo featured on some of the garments, from the porn video website partnering the collection.
In the same provocative spirit, other items featured inscriptions such as 'Wench' and 'Hustler'.
Many models wore cowboy boots with a double tip, one at the front and another, identical, at the back, causing a couple of them to nearly collapse on the runway.
