Global online fashion and lifestyle retailer Shein announced on Thursday plans to open a new Seattle-area office in downtown Bellevue, expanding its growing U.S. footprint.
The nearly 10,000 square feet office space will serve as a central hub for Shein's U.S. fulfillment and logistics operations. By establishing this foothold in the Pacific Northwest, Shein aims to bolster its efforts in localizing services and ensuring expedited delivery times for its customers across the nation.
"The U.S. is an important market for Shein, and we are thrilled to establish a presence in the Seattle area as we continue enhancing our fulfillment process and improving the customer experience," said Andy Huang, Shein's head of U.S. fulfillment and logistics.
"This expansion underscores our commitment to efficiency across our operations, and we look forward to contributing to the local community and fostering innovation in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.”
As part of its expansion plans, Shein anticipates that the new office will accommodate over 50 professionals by the end of 2025. The company is actively recruiting individuals for various roles to support its logistics and distribution efforts across the country.
The addition of the Seattle office further solidifies Shein's presence in the United States, joining its existing network of over 1,500 corporate and warehouse employees spread across key cities including Los Angeles, San Diego, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Whitestown, IN.
