The RealReal reported a 11% increase in total revenue to $148 million for the third quarter.

The San Francisco-based company said gross merchandise value (GMV) for the three months ending September 30 climbed 6% to $433 million, on the back of a 4% jump in order numbers. The firm's average order value equally increased 2% to $522 during the three months.
Moreover, the firm narrowed its quarterly net loss to $18 million, compared to $23 million in the prior-year period.
“I am pleased to report strong results for the third quarter, and I am encouraged by the continued strength in supply trends as we enter the fourth quarter," said Rati Levesque, chief executive officer of The RealReal, who was promoted last month.
“Third quarter GMV, total revenue, and adjusted EBITDA all exceeded our prior expectations, enabling us to raise our full year outlook.”
Looking ahead, for Q4 2025, the company projects GMV in the range of $484 million to $500 million, contributing to a full-year GMV estimate of $1.81 billion to $1.826 billion.
Expected total revenue for Q4 stands between $158 million and $165 million, with full-year revenue projections reaching between $595 million and $602 million. Adjusted EBITDA for Q4 is anticipated to be between $6.5 million and $9.5 million, while full-year adjusted EBITDA is estimated at $4.7 million to $7.7 million.
