Louis Vuitton has unveiled its first permanent cutlery collection at a special charity gala attended by 200 guests at the exclusive Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. Guests included American architect Peter Marino, film producer Christine Schwartzman, and Countess Patrice de Vogüé, WWD reports.
The Constellation and Splendor collections include complete sets of porcelain, cutlery, glasses, decanters, and carafes. These pieces are “designed for all moments of life, from everyday meals to special occasions. The graphic spirit of the Monogram flowers on fine porcelain and hand-blown glass, as well as the herringbone pattern on shimmering silver or the LV initials illuminated in subtle gold, allow each piece to combine the heritage of the house with its modernity,” Louis Vuitton notes.
The Limoges porcelain collection Constellation includes a total of 13 pieces that reinterpret elements of the Monogram, while Splendor covers a range of 17 pieces with a playful iteration of the “L” and “V” branding. As for the Rivet cutlery line, it consists of 14 stainless steel pieces that have a tubular shape. Louis Vuitton offers twist glasses and Flower decanters in four colors of Murano glass.
The Constellation and Rivet collections will be available in LV boutiques on October 31, while the Splendor and Rivet Épi will be released on November 14.
