Gymshark is continuing its expansion into physical retail with the fast-growing company announcing its second permanent store. It’s planning a debut at London’s Westfield Stratford City.
The e-commerce brand’s first store opened on bustling, tourist-focused Regent Street in October 2025 and now it’s preparing to open at the UK’s busiest shopping centre in a very different part of the city.
Working with mall owner Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Gymshark will take on a 7,000 sq ft space that will create over 75 jobs. It will open this summer.
In announcing the move, the company said people had been taken by surprise when it said it planned to open on Regent Street in the immediate aftermath of the pandemic. But the decision appears to have paid off and the company seems set on driving its growth through more stores in carefully chosen locations.
Founder and CEO Ben Francis said: “When we opened Regent Street, many people asked if this was the first of many stores. The honest answer at the time was that we didn’t know. It quickly became incredibly successful for our brand, and store number two was on the horizon. It’s why we’re so happy to find our second home at the busiest shopping centre in the United Kingdom.
“Whether it’s to come and train, join our Run Club or grab a new hoodie, our community have clearly told us that hanging out in real life is something they love. So, to be able to bring them a second destination in such a great location that so many people visit is just incredible.”
