Fashion and lifestyle retailer Toast has expanded its already substantial commitment to sustainability by launching a new initiative.

Guided by long-standing principles “to create long-lasting pieces and explore ways to keep them in use for longer”, the brand has expanded its ‘The Circle’ initiative to introduce a preloved platform.
Launching on 5 October, ‘Toast Reworn’ will enable customers to repurchase wearable preloved items from past and present collections, including “the earliest loungewear designs, through to contemporary collections, all of them united by Toast’s simple, modern and functional design ethos”.
This mean’s the wider Circle programme now includes Toast Repair (a free mending service), Toast Exchange (an events-based clothes swap), Toast Renewed (a collection of visibly hand-repaired pieces) and now Toast Reworn.
CEO Suzie de Rohan Willner said: “As a brand, it’s vital that we take responsibility for all of the items we produce and extend the lifecycle of our clothing. At this stage, Toast Reworn is an investment for the brand as we believe it is critical to offer a way to reduce clothing being sent to landfill and help customers take a more circular approach.
“We know that sometimes the cherished clothes we once kept in regular rotation, no longer inspire as they once did and remain untouched in our wardrobes. Reworn gives us the opportunity to keep the designs we love in circulation and give them a new lease of life.”
