Central London’s key shopping destination Regent Street continues to be a beacon for strong retail occupancy. And the West End location is adding one more major brand — fashion retailer Joseph to its line-up, while VF Corp’s outdoor brand The North Faces expands its presence by a third there.

London property giant GPE has signed the latter to an extended 10-year lease for the expanded 10,00 saw ft space at Walmar House, Regent Street. Set across ground and basement floors, it will increase its retail footprint by 33%.

The expansion follows “strong trading at the current flagship store” where the retailer has resided since 2025.

Meanwhile, Joseph has also signed a lease for a new store at Kingsland House, 124 Regent Street, becoming the retailer’s sixth London standalone store in addition to the nearby Brook Street location.

GPE said the lease signing completes the repositioning of the retail offering at Kingsland and Carrington House, following Tumi, Russell & Bromley and The Body Shop that completed new leases with GPE last year.

Sarah Goldman, Head of Retail at GPE said: “With footfall growing at our West End properties, and visitors to our capital on the rise, the expansion of The North Face and the presence of Joseph further boosts the appeal of this famed shopping district.”

Ignacio Abadias, EMEA Real Estate Manager at The North Face/VF Group: “It’s a testament to the enduring success story of London’s Regent’s Street, as it will become our biggest store in EMEA and second globally.”

Joseph CEO Barbara Campos also said: “This year as we celebrate our 40-year anniversary, we are delighted to be opening a new store in one of London’s most iconic shopping destinations. This marks an exciting next step in our brand’s journey and a pivotal moment … as we expand our presence in the UK.”
