Covent Garden’s appeal for niche fashion retail continues apace. After sustainable menswear brand NN.07 debuted there, eco-conscious suits retailer Batch London and travel apparel brand Gandys have signed up too for the hugely popular Shaftesbury Capital-operated London neighbourhood.

“The commitment of the trio of independent British retailers highlights the destination’s enduring appeal as a hub for both UK-founded and international brands”, the property giant said.
As already reported, NN.07 has just launched its first standalone UK store within the Seven Dials area on Earlham Street.
Nearby, on Shorts Gardens is British suit brand Batch London with a 2,000 sq ft unit. Known for its sustainability-driven approach and commitment to ‘The Batch Model’, the brand “aims to build a community of conscious, forward-thinking shoppers, making luxury clothing accessible to everyone”.
The store will offer a range of exclusively made-to-order menswear and womenswear, including suits, jackets and trousers, as well as personalised one-on-one fit consultations.
Completing the trio of debuts is travel-inspired brand Gandys International, which is set to open on Neal Street. The 500 sq ft unit will be the brand’s only standalone store, featuring a wide range of products including travel clothing, durable backpacks, and accessories.
The latest additions also follow the recent opening of British luxury lifestyle brand, Barbour, which has opened a new heritage concept store on Neal Street.
