Last Wednesday night, Zahia Dehar held the first ever catwalk show of her label Zahia. With the financial help of Hong Kong’s investment firm First Mark, she was able to present some of the unique couture pieces of her collection in Paris' majestic Palais de Chaillot. The 19-year-old former call girl, who is not yet a professional designer, relied on the talent of several industry professionals in order to help her give life to her ideas.
Zahia talked to the numerous guests who attended the event about the inspiration behind her couture collection and of her plans to launch a mass-market collection this summer, but which is still going to be of high-end quality. The line was photographed by no one less than Karl Lagerfeld, a sign that she definitely knows which crowd to hang out with.
