Located in the city's Shot Tower, the Melbourne Central space, designed and built in collaboration with Melbourne-based agency ACRD, boasts earthy tones and verdant green carpets paying tribute its native nation's landscape, alongside a distinct boot wall built using bricks by Krause, a family-owned Victorian business that specialises in the production of premium bricks.

Among the store’s offering of local fixtures and finishings are a selection of handcrafted chairs and tables, made by celebrated furniture maker Made by Morgen.

As for products, the refurbished location boasts the latest collection of the brand’s leather boots, apparel and
accessories, including a dedicated Akubra hat shop-in-shop.

"We’re proud to have collaborated with ACRD, Krause and Made by Morgen on a number of store projects now, but this space is a particularly poignant environment to showcase their skills," said Paul Giannangeli, head of brand environment at R.M.Williams.

"Bringing this thoughtful artistry to their local Melbourne audience feels very true to the story of our brand, and to RM’s enduring commitment to local craftsmanship of all fields and disciplines.”

R.M. Williams was acquired by investment firm Tattarang, owned by Andrew and Nicola Forrest, in 2025. In November last year, the Australian investor duo, acquired local hat maker, Akubra, which was founded nearly 150 years ago.
