Streetwear brand Supreme is giving its iconic box logo an opulent boost in honor of the brand's 25th anniversary, announcing a special apparel release in partnership with Swarovski.
In celebration of the milestone, Supreme will release a Swarovski crystal t-shirt and hooded sweatshirt featuring the box logo, each decorated with 1,161 and 1,201 hand-applied crystals, respectively. The jewel-encrusted items will be available in-store at the brand's Manhattan, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London and Paris locations, as well as online, on April 25. Additionally, the shirt and sweatshirt will become available in Japan on April 27.
The jeweled Supreme apparel marks the latest and most street style-oriented of Swarovski's recent collaborations with fashion brands, following partnerships for special crystal-encrusted pieces with Sies Marjan, Jeremy Scott, and most recently, Off-White.
Founded by James Jebbia, Supreme first opened its premiere location on Lafayette Street in downtown Manhattan in April of 1994. Today, the brand operates a total of 11 stores worldwide, with the largest number of brick-and-mortar locations scattered throughout Japan in the cities of Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka.
