Superdrug has just opened the doors to its biggest UK store, with the 9,890 sq ft flagship having been extended at the Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre in London.
The store, which has doubled in size, continues Superdrug expanding its physical footprint with the retailer planing to open 25 new stores in 2025 as it celebrates its 60th year on the British high street.
The newly extended store’s beauty offer includes its own-brand cosmetics range Studio London alongside B Skin, Me+, Vitamin E, Optimum, Naturally Radiant, Relove by Revolution, Mua, Morphe 2 and Avon.
The store also features a new Beauty Studio that has doubled in size and provides “professional treatments at affordable prices without having to make an appointment”. Customers will have access to eyebrow, lash, nail and piercing services.
Superdrug’s ambitious investment programme focuses on “bigger and better store formats in prime retail destinations” and its expanding store estate is expected to create over 500 jobs. Some 25 further jobs have been added to the Westfield reopening.
Some of the unveilings this year will include its biggest-ever stores with a “further three best-in-class stores” at St David’s in Cardiff, Bluewater Shopping Centre and now Westfield Stratford City.
