Lucas Ossendrijver has created a special collection to celebrate his 10th anniversary at Lanvin, where he has been in charge of design for the men's collections since 2006. The Dutch designer, 46, initially worked under the aegis of Alber Elbaz, before finding himself on the front line.

Over the course of the seasons, Ossendrijver has freshened up Lanvin's men's style, creating looks at once sophisticated and casual, blending the label's heritage with his own inspiration. "A wardrobe that is both sensual and demanding," stated the historic Parisian fashion label in a press release.
For the anniversary, Lucas Ossendrijver has devised a collection called simply "Les 10 ans" (ten years). It features three pairs of sneakers, including a high-upper model which the designer has successfully updated for his men's wardrobe - it is one of Lanvin's best-sellers - a backpack, a sweatshirt and a tee-shirt in black or white.
The ten fingers of two hands are sewn on the black cotton sweatshirt. Also, the number 10, in many different guises (figures, letters, as a playing card or on a billiard ball) is printed randomly on the tee-shirts and accessories.

The label announced on its Twitter account that the collection reached stores on 7th September. Prices range from €245 for the printed cotton tee-shirt to €1,250 for the multi-pocket backpack in black and white jacquard cotton, trimmed with calfskin and Japanese nylon.
The Dutch designer was born in Utrecht and, after graduating from the Fine Arts Academy at Arnhem, Holland, worked at Kostas Murkudis, then at Kenzo's menswear division in 1997, before spending four years at Christian Dior's men's line under the supervision of Hedi Slimane.
