A curtain has risen on the 2025 edition of the ANDAM Fashion Award, aimed at supporting young fashion French fashion designers or those living in France. The list of finalists was unveiled on Monday, just a few weeks before the final decison is to be made by the jury on 3 July.

Five finalists will vie for the grand prize that will allow one of them the opportunity to win a €250,000 ($275,000/£180,000) prize, along with a year of mentoring from Bruno Pavlovsky, president of global fashion at Chanel. Last year's winner was Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen.

The happy finalists of this batch are Japanese brand Anrealage, Turk Umit Benam, tailoring specialist Pallas Paris, as well as Stéphane Ashpool from Pigalle Paris and Demna Gvasalia from the Paris-based collective Vêtements.

Selected as the four finalists for the €90,000 First Collections prize ($99,000/£65,000) for the First Collections were Etienne Deroeux, trio Lou Menais, Jerry Juno and Léa Sebban, behind the brand Jour/né, designer Léa Peckre, as well as Marie-Christine Statz for Gauchère, who was already nominated in this category last year.

Finally, Charlotte Chesnais, Hugo Matha and Annelise Michelson will be competing in the final for the Accessories Prize worth €30,000 ($33,000/£22,000).
