New York City-based menswear brand Ovadia & Sons this week launched its new athletic inspired collection, OVADIA+.
The twin brother designers, Ariel and Shimon Ovadia, were inspired by ease and transparency for the new line. The collection consists of minimal and modern pieces that are made with luxurious performance-inspired fabrics like waterproof rubberized hardware and moisture wicking and breathable materials.
"With the success we have had with the athletic inspired pieces in our main collection, it felt right to launch a new activewear label and it’s in tune with the market," said Shimon Ovadia. "It’s a mix of easy-to-wear pieces that can be paired with your day-to-day clothing."
Ovadia & Sons is yet another brand to venture into activewear. Theory last year launched its activewear collection, Theory+.
The OVADIA+ collection will be available at Barneys, Carson Street Clothiers, Gentry and Equinox this season.
