We know running in the great outdoors is scaling new peaks of popularity, given the recent news charity event Park Run has just celebrated its 20th anniversary reaching 2,000 locations across 22 countries.

And as one of running’s major advocates, UK retailer Go Outdoors has now launched Kudos Run, a dedicated department offering an extensive range of the world’s top running brands.
Available both online and within six flagship stores (York, Swindon, Coventry, Stoke, Derby, and soon-to-open Stockton), Kudos Run now positions Go Outdoors “as a significant player in the UK’s rapidly growing running retail sector”.
And given the sport’s popularity, Go Outdoors said it has responded to a recent rise in demand for running-specific products, so Kudos Run provides runners of all abilities with access to premium footwear, clothing, wearable technology, and nutrition from globally recognised brands such as Adidas, ASICS, Garmin, Merrell, New Balance and Salomon.

It also “understands the importance of providing expert support” and has introduced state-of-the-art foot scanners in its flagship stores from Volumental “providing the only store to offer this level of foot scan to give runners in-depth gait analysis and detailed assessments of runners' feet, helping customers choose the ideal footwear to improve performance and prevent injuries".
Lee Bagnall, CEO of Go Outdoors, said: “With the popularity of running showing no signs of slowing down, we’re proud to offer a dedicated space that truly supports runners with the best products and expert guidance. By extending our brand partnerships and introducing advanced gait analysis, we’re ensuring that every runner, from novices to seasoned pros, has access to the very best solutions to enhance their performance.”
Throughout the coming weeks, special Go Outdoors stores will host Kudos Run events designed to get people running while showing off the new department and brands.
