The collection features 8 brands that worked closely with Piece & Co. to source handmade materials and fabrics. The brands include Diane Von Furstenberg, Tory Burch, Rebecca Minkoff, Theory, Alice + Olivia, Joie, Current/Elliot, and The Honest Company.
Tricia Smith, executive vice president and general merchandise manager of women's apparel at Nordstrom, said, "What excites us most about this collaboration with Piece & Co. is how each of the brands really embraced the idea that the clothing they're designing can truly make a difference.."
Each designer and brand made their signature styles and classic pieces with patterns and colors found all over the world.
"Pretty amazing things happen when women from around the world come together," said Piece & Co. founder, Kathleen Wright. "I'm excited for the possibilities that this collaboration with Nordstrom and these fantastic brands brings."
Piece & Co. strives to end global poverty by providing employment for female artisans. Since 2011, Piece & Co. has created thousands of jobs for women in over 30 countries. Its collaboration with Nordstrom and the eight brands created 5,000 jobs.
The collection will be available at select Nordstrom locations in the United States and Puerto Rico and at nordstrom.com/pieceandco.
