Twice a year, the international fashion tradeshow Premium is held in Berlin. And for over a decade, Premium has helped encourage emerging talent with its Young Designers Award.
Now, it has announced the winners for spring/summer 2025, in the four categories: Womenswear, Menswear, Accessories and Activewear (which was previously known as Season's Special.) Ksenia Schnaider, from Kiev, Ukraine, won the Womenswear award.
The Menswear prize went to Verena Schepperheyn from Berlin, Germany, and Nadine Eismann from Stuttgart, Germany, took home the Accessories prize. Dresp, also from Berlin, won the Activewear award.
The winners' package contains tailored B2B and B2C support to help the emerging designers find their own successful formula. They receive assistance over two seasons after the award, and get their own stand at Premium during the first season.
After the order season, the winners are showcased in Galeries Lafayette's display windows in Berlin. The Premium Young Designers winners can be seen at Premium in Berlin on June 28-30.
