Westfield London and sister mall Westfield Stratford are primed to host London’s biggest Eid al-Fitr festival again this month with separate events. Combined, the weekends' occasions are expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors.

The celebration, which signifies the end of Ramadan, will mean a major boost for the two Westfield malls with the events stretching across 12-14 April at the former and 19-21 April at the latter.
Called The London Eid Festival, the two malls will stage a series of entertainment and activities with brands from eight different countries represented.
These include fashion, boutique items, gifting and homewares. Running alongside will be live performances by a children’s choir, Qawwali bands, and DJ sets exclusive to the Westfield music playlist tailored for both event weekends.
Katie Wyle, Head of Shopping Centre Management at owner/operator Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said: “The London Eid Festival is a huge moment for us every year as it brings together and celebrates one of our many important communities.”
Events of any scale that attract visitors over and above the staple consumer have become the lifeblood of shopping centres across the UK, used as a both a marketing tool and as a goodwill gesture to bring local communities together in the post-pandemic world.
