Designer Henry Holland is leaving the fashion brand he founded 14 years ago to work as a brand consultant, House of Holland announced on Friday.

This is the second major announcement from an established London-based fashion brand this week, following news that Peter Pilotto is taking a break while its designers conduct a strategic review.
Management consultancy firm KPMG has been tasked with finding “the right investment partners” to take the House of Holland brand forward.
The label was absent from the London Fashion Week schedule this month.
Commenting on his decision to leave the brand, Henry Holland said: “After the most incredible ride, my journey at the helm of House of Holland has come to an end. When I first started this brand, no one could have predicted the success that we would achieve and the fun we would have.
“I want to thank everyone who has supported me to this point. Most importantly my team who have worked tirelessly throughout. I will forever be indebted to them and the industry for embracing House of Holland and everything we stand for.
“I have learned so much that will inform my future, and whilst I am sad for the ending of this amazing chapter, I am excited about what the future has in store.”
Henry Holland’s irreverent aesthetic and London influences helped build House of Holland into a fashion week staple. Synonymous with eclectic colour combinations and an upbeat vibe, the brand has recently collaborated with Japanese designer Yuul Yie, while a sell-out swimwear collaboration with Speedo led to a second drop in October.
The fashion designer is also part of Debenhams’ roster of designers, powering the H! By Henry Holland label.
