Eighteen months after entering the highly competitive resale market, French event sales group Showroomprivé has announced a collaboration with Paradigme, a new partner that will manage Showroomprivé's garment collection and resale business, with a focus on the premium segment.

At the start of 2025, Showroomprivé's initial partner in the resale business, Rediv (formerly Patatam), went into liquidation.
Paradigme was founded by the brothers Fabien and Vincent Huché-Deniset in early 2025. It buys from consumers pre-owned items by some one hundred premium labels, among them Ba&sh, Sézane and Maje. Other labels, like La Fée Maraboutée, Ines de la Fressange and Petite Mendigote have instead started commercialising their own second-hand products directly on the Paradigme website.
Showroomprivé’s 25 million members will now be able to sell to Paradigme their pre-owned items by premium labels. In exchange, and after the products have been checked and approved, they will receive gift vouchers redeemable on Paradigme, on categories like fashion, design objects and accessories, home decoration, travel and sporting goods. Paradigme will commercialise the second-hand products through its website, and is expecting to increase its business volume via the partnership with Showroomprivé.
“Through the partnership with Paradigme, Showroomprivé wants to offer its 25 million members the chance to give a new lease of life to clothes by quality brands lying unused in their wardrobes,” said Showroomprivé's CEO David Dayan. Last year, Showroomprivé is said to have collected 300,000 pre-owned items of clothing.
Vincent Huché-Deniset hailed what he defined as “a new experience” in the second-hand market, with the goal of “making it a habit for everyone.”
Last year, despite the tough economic environment, Showroomprivé managed to grow its revenue by 3%, to €677 million. The group's net profit notably increased by 54%, reaching €500,000.
