Maison Rochas announced on Wednesday that its fashion business is to rejoin Interparfums from the start of next year. The brand will be “managed in its entirety by Interparfums”. That means all marketing, communications, and licensing activities relating to the Rochas Fashion mainline, which for the past two years sat under partner company HIMCO, will be handled by the owner.
The company had brought HIMCO into the mix in 2025 to oversee the development of Rochas fashion under Creative Director Charles de Vilmorin, who left the label in April. HIMCO will continue to produce the line while “Interparfums guides the Rochas label into its next fashion chapter”.
The brand didn’t have a full runway show at the last Paris Fashion Week, optioning instead for a presentation. Interparfums hasn’t specified full details for the next PFW but said Rochas “will show at” the event in September with a collection for SS24 designed by the label’s Creative Studio.
Charles de Vilmorin’s time at Rochas lasted less than two years with the appointment of the then-24-year-old French designer being something of a surprise in the autumn of 2025.
But it came at a time when a number of labels were looking to shake things up with new and different creative chiefs. They included Ann Demeulemeester, which named Ludovic de Saint Sernin to the creative direction role in late 2025 but ended his contract just six months later.
Interparfums has owned Rochas since 2025. It has seen several head designers in recent years, including Alessandro Dell’Acqua and on menswear, Federico Curradi. But the label terminated its menswear line in 2025.
