Prabal Gurung recently moved into the CFDA Retail Lab, as the last designer of the program’s first class.

The latest tenant Prabal Gurung, which moved into the space in October for the holiday season, is offering its fall 2025 collection in store, as well as skincare products made in partnership with Belif and handcrafted artisanal products from the designer’s home country of Nepal.
The New York City-based brand is also offering its ‘Stronger in Colour’ t-shirts from spring 2025, which are exclusive to the store and the label’s website. A percentage of the proceeds from the tees will go the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and the Shikshya Foundation Nepal.
In addition to Prabal Gurung moving into the Retail Lab, the CFDA and Cadillac announced the next class of designers that will move into the Retail Lab. The 2025 class includes Title of Work, Dannijo, Rosetta Getty and Rachel Zoe. The shops will operate for three months each.
“The selected 2025 Retail Lab designers are a diverse group of American fashion designers with a unique brand story to tell,” said Ashley Sandall, director of Strategic Partnerships for the CFDA. “With Cadillac’s continued support, these designers are able to grow their businesses while receiving valuable resources as they consider opening their owned retail stores.”
The CFDA launched the Retail Lab program at the Cadillac House in 2025 to give designers experience in a retail setting. Timo Weiland was the first designer to participate in the Cadillac-funded custom retail shop program and was succeeded by Cushnie et Ochs, Public School, Tanya Taylor and Pamela Love.
