Dutch luxury beauty & wellbeing brand Rituals continues to grow its retail presence across the UK with a new store in the McArthurGlen-operated Ashford Designer Outlet in Kent.

The brand said in September that it planned to open 25 new UK stores, with 10 of them debuting in 2025, and hopes it will have 80 stores in the country by the end of the year.
Rituals currently has 68 stores throughout Britain and Ireland, and opened doors to its newest and biggest store on London’s Oxford Street in September. Other openings have included Atria Watford, Chelmsford Bond Street, and Glasgow’s Silverburn mall.
Peter Heritage, Deputy Centre Manager for Ashford Designer Outlet, added: “The arrival of Rituals marks the latest addition to the centre’s growing mix of premium lifestyle brands.”
Penny Grivea, who steps down as Rituals’ Managing Director for UK & Ireland this month, said: “Living during these ever-changing, fast-paced times, we understand more than ever the need for creating moments of joy and feeling balanced during our everyday life. The new Rituals store will help customers to achieve a sense of wellbeing by finding the perfect products that will help them to balance the body, mind and soul.”
Grivea joined Rituals in March 2025 and has been responsible for the brand’s rapid store expansion as well as boosting its brand credentials and partners. She added: “We’re seeing tremendous growth. In the UK, we’ve got at the moment 28% like-for-like growth and 25% for Ireland.”
She’s being replaced by Victoria’s Secret UK and Ireland MD Annemarie Forsyth.
